The villas are new and attractive, with plenty of trees and a clean, pleasant pool. The property is well furnished and has the main appliances. It’s about a 5-7 minute drive to the beach, 20 minutes to Ostuni, and 10 minutes to the nearest supermarket. The place has plenty of potential. The kitchen was a letdown: much of it was old, cheap, missing, or unsuitable, which feels out of place in a new property. We also had to buy our own special recycling bags, shower gel, washing machine tablets, degreaser, and ant spray. The kitchen had a big ant problem. The host wasn’t hospitable or flexible. We had to check out before 10:00. Pool towels weren’t provided, which I’ve never encountered before at a pool villa. The bath towels were old, thin, and didn’t absorb water well; the sheets were also old and damaged, with faded colors.
