We had a really peaceful six days, October 12th to 17th. Angelo and son were super nice and attentive, and we loved the bar's cheap coffee, tasty croissants, and lovely terrace. The waitresses were friendly too. Just ask if you need anything. The apartment is cute, clean, well equipped, well soundproofed, and secure. It suits two people, or a couple with two young children. No safe, and if I'm looking for a small flaw, the espresso machine is tiny and outdated 🤣. I didn't have to pay an extra electricity bill, despite what another review said. The beach is very close. There's a mini market downstairs with Italian cold cuts, cheese, and other basics, and a takeaway mini bakery too, though that closes from October 15th. No ATM. Bars and restaurants are nearby. Carovigno is about 7 km away, with gourmet restaurants and a magnificent castle. The station is 3.5 km away. Walking is possible, but you'd be on the main road. Public transport apparently only runs in July and August. A car is better, but getting by without one isn't impossible.

We were four, with our two little girls, and had a great stay in one of the five apartments on the first floor of this recently built block. The flat was new, clean, and had everything we needed, including air conditioning and a washing machine. The location is handy, right by the central area with bars, restaurants, and amusement park rides. In the evening, that area closes to traffic and becomes pedestrian, often with stalls to browse at the market. Being so central does make parking tricky, especially if you're out exploring nearby places in the evening. We sometimes had to park far away when we got back. There's also a lot of steady night noise, from traffic and loud music late on to sewer and recycling trucks early in the morning, as there is no sewer system. We couldn't leave the windows open. Thankfully they're new, and the apartment is well insulated and soundproofed, so closing them cuts the noise down a lot. At checkout, the owner comes to inspect the apartment, and electricity is paid separately. I recommend it.

It's centrally located, but we didn't have noise problems in the apartment. The place was very clean, and the Corallo hotel staff who also manage this property were genuinely kind and helpful.

We had a lovely family stay here in July 2018. The property was clean and conveniently placed, near all the amenities and just 40 meters from the sea. Some of the most beautiful beaches in that part of Salento are close by too. The owner was especially kind and helpful.
