The host was friendly, professional, and attentive, and the attention to detail throughout was lovely. We had our check-in moved a couple of hours earlier after the scheduled time seemed a bit late, which we appreciated. The house is beautiful, welcoming, and meticulously kept. Since it’s a historic home, the stairs are very steep and right by the entrance, so it may not suit anyone with mobility issues. It’s in a quiet area, with parking just a few steps away, and the town makes a handy base for driving around Salento. We stayed the third weekend of August and would definitely come back.
