Traveling with our six-month-old was very different from the 2.5 years my wife and I had spent backpacking around the world. The Salento Guesthouse turned out to be a great first stop for continuing our travels with our new addition. Guiseppe provided a baby crib for our room, which was a big help, and Suite1 was lovely with all the amenities we could have hoped for. The small town is beautiful and full of history, with plenty of places 15 minutes to an hour away by car. We could still get back easily to rest during the day with our little one. Breakfast was always great, with lots to choose from, and Guiseppe was a solid host who made the stay enjoyable. I’d highly recommend staying here, and we’ll definitely return. Thank you!

Guiseppe and Susana were terrific hosts, and the breakfasts were amazing. We’ve traveled all over Italy, and staying at this guesthouse was a real treat and one of the highlights of our trip. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Bravo!

We rented the second and third apartments, which gave us a whole home and a private courtyard to ourselves. It felt like an oasis. The accommodations were second to none: soft sheets, hot water, and temperature-controlled spaces. Guiseppe is a lovely host who really cares about what he does. He knows the area well and gave us excellent advice. Breakfast each day was amazing, with fresh fried eggs with thick golden yolks, ham and cheese, fresh croissants and baguette, three kinds of jam, juice, hot espresso, hot apple tartlets, yoghurt, and probably anything else you could ask for.

The Donna Irene suite was beautifully decorated with style and taste, and was immaculate, carefully designed, and equipped with everything needed for a top-notch stay. The internal courtyard was lovely too. Giuseppe was a wonderful host, kind, friendly, and helpful. He welcomed us warmly, offered advice, and made us feel at home. His care for guests, from welcome items to breakfast products, felt unique. This is a great choice in Carpignano, a short drive from Otranto, Lecce, and Salento’s splendid beaches. We’ll definitely return.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful B&B. Giuseppe, the owner, was kind and very helpful. It’s in a quaint village, close to all the most beautiful beaches in Salento.
