The host was fantastic, and we’d happily book this Bed & Breakfast again. Our room was nicely decorated, the bathroom was top-notch, and the bed was cozy. Breakfast was perfect too.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it. The owner was very helpful, the breakfast was good, and the bathroom was comfortable and spotless. Our room was meticulously cared for and had a lovely view from the balcony. We had a little trouble finding the place because the street has two entrances, so be sure to enter the street number in your GPS.

We’ve stayed at La Marmifera twice now while visiting for our studies, and would gladly come back if we can. It was clean and welcoming, with a good breakfast, and Lidia was very kind. From our room we could see the Apuan Alps and Ravaccione. The B&B is above central Carrara, about a three-minute walk away. Some people complain about the road, but I can assure you it’s not that steep. Pimpa was welcomed by Nikita, Lidia’s sweet dog. Thanks, Lidia. Highly recommended.

Lidia was so friendly and made us feel right at home throughout our five-day stay. She prepared an excellent, generous breakfast too. The B&B is new and up on a hillside, with just two roomy, panoramic rooms overlooking Carrara. It was clean, quiet, and really comfortable, with a great mattress and pillows. The bright, spacious bathroom is marble, and the heating and air conditioning are independent. There’s also convenient, secure, private parking. Highly recommended.
