A low-key country restaurant with a fantastic view, good service, and reasonably priced food. They serve Italian classics as well as plenty of dishes with porcini mushrooms. The 20-euro menu turistici is hard to beat: four courses with wine and coffee. Ours included a large antipasto plate, pasta Al pesto, scallopini in butter and lemon sauce, panna cotta, a quarter litro of red wine, and coffee. Others in my party had ravioli Al ragu, which were really good too. There's also a lunch menu for about 12 euros.

We were both hearty eaters, but the generous mushroom appetizers, cured meats and cheeses filled us up before we even got to the main course. The mushroom risotto was delicious and filling too, so we skipped that course. For dessert, the very kind owner treated us to the house dessert and fiordilatte gelato. We chose a mushroom meal after taking inspiration from the inn's name, even though there were plenty of seafood options on the menu.

I'd wanted to try this place for a long time, and finally made it for dinner. The mixed mushroom appetizer was excellent. For the first course, I had ravioli filled with pumpkin and porcini mushrooms, which was good.

The food was wonderful, with carefully prepared dishes and excellent handmade pasta, meats and cured meats. The homemade desserts were delicious too, and the service was professional and attentive. Our room, where we spent four nights, was spotless and renovated, with a valley view and shade from a majestic pine tree. Breakfast under the pergola, overlooking the valley, was generous and succulent. We were even invited to park our motorcycles in the property's private parking lot. Practically everything was perfect. We'll be back as soon as we can.
