We loved this family-friendly spot in the hills. The grounds are beautiful, and the local food has a lovely artisanal feel. We only wish we’d stayed overnight in one of the charming rooms too. Grazie.

That 1kg steak was a real highlight, and the three of us shared it. We also loved the generous antipasto. Aubergine seems to be the specialty here, and we tried several delicious versions we’d never had before. A great dinner with the family.

We came back hoping for the food and service we enjoyed here two years ago, but things have changed. On that first visit, my pasta with ragu had just one small piece of ragu in the whole dish. I let it go, but this time my gnocchi with salsiccia arrived without any sausage at all. It’s frustrating and embarrassing to have to ask about something you’re paying for. We won’t be back. No one should have to put up with that kind of disrespect.

We were the only guests during our stay this October 2018, which made for a very quiet visit. The room was perfect, the staff were warm and friendly, and there was plenty to see and do nearby. The food was plentiful and delicious. We’d gladly come back.
