The rooms are the best part of this hotel, 8/10, though I didn’t see an AC. Breakfast was 3/10, with no meat or fresh fruit for a room price of 90€. The restaurant gets 6/10, since it wasn’t really our taste and was quite pricey. Wine tasting was good, 7/10, but the prices were 15€ for 3 different wines and 20€ for 5, with an extra cost for sparkling. It’s a nice, good hotel, but everything costs extra and is pared down to the bare minimum despite the huge prices.

We had the most wonderful culinary days here. Cascina Faletta was a beautiful building, and the workers were very nice. The view was amazing, and you could take a short walk through the vineyards. It’s a perfect base for visiting other lovely wineries and places with local products. We stayed 3 nights.

We came back here many times for holidays, and eventually chose it as the place to get married. The owners and staff are so welcoming and helpful that it’s hard to put into words. The local food gives the place an authentic feel, and the cooking is top-notch. Absolutely recommend it.

The menu could be easier to navigate: with four tasting menus to choose from, ordering à la carte means reading through the starters, first courses, mains and desserts four times. On a relaxed Saturday lunch, that takes more effort than you want to put in. We also left a little hungry after spending €45 each, as the portions felt too small. The food itself was very tasty and delicate, and the quality was consistently high. The vitello tonnato and rice were both very good, and the bunet was the best dessert we tried. The interiors are lovely, with a stunning view over the surrounding hills, and the wine cellar is worth seeing.
