The owners were kind, the place was beautiful, and we had good service. We celebrated my daughter’s confirmation there, and the food was excellent. We’ll definitely be back, and I recommend it.

It felt like a traditional Modena kitchen: simple, no frills, and excellent food. We went with family after booking a table in advance. The menu is posted everywhere, and my advice is to confirm what’s written when you book. The price was excellent for everything we were served, and the atmosphere was family-friendly. The owners were genuinely humble and helpful. The first courses were a spectacular ricotta and spinach tortelli and delicious gramigna with sausage ragù. I asked whether they make penne with tomato sauce, just to check a negative review, and they confirmed they don’t. Grilled meat is made to order only, with the price and quantity agreed on when booking. The second course is usually excellent cold cuts with tigelle, cheeses, jams, and Nutella. When we thought the meal was over, they brought stew with more hot tigelle, followed by water, white and red wine, coffee, and amaro. It was all included. An experience I’d repeat!

Linda and Ivano made us feel very welcome. They’re professional, responsible, and friendly. We had a generous set menu at a very fair price, and everything tasted delicious. The location is beautiful, with a really special view. We ate at the reserve with friends, and I recommend it to everyone.

The atmosphere is what sets the place apart: welcoming and romantic, with breathtaking views from the hills across the plains. The veranda is tastefully furnished, and the dishes are lovingly cooked the old-fashioned way, almost like grandma used to make. The value is absolutely fair.
