The private parking was one of the biggest advantages, especially with a rental car. Italian streets are narrow and crowded with cars, so it's easy to get bumped or scratched. The apartment had kitchen basics, including pots and pans, and two air conditioners, one in the main bedroom and one in the kitchen. The kitchen, main bedroom, and bathroom were spacious; the second bedroom was smaller but still roomy enough. We were on the first floor, and there's an elevator. The host stayed in touch on WhatsApp, met us outside the building, and showed us around the apartment. Knowing we could call anytime if we needed help was reassuring. It's on a side street, a little quieter than the main road, if anything in Naples can be called quiet. Both train stations are about 500 meters away, so we managed without a car. One stop gets you to the city center and two metro lines. There are plenty of small local shops on the main street nearby, plus a Lidl close by for a larger grocery shop.

The place was dirty and covered in mold. The washing machine appeared in the photos, but it wasn't there when we arrived. When we asked, they said it belonged to another accommodation, so photos from different places had been uploaded. There was no staff around, and the kitchenette was impossible to describe. I wouldn't recommend it.

We stayed in the apartment and came away pleasantly satisfied.

It had a special atmosphere and good quality, and it was just right for my time in Naples. The city center was only a few minutes away and easy to get to. I'll come back next time I'm in Naples.

We came back for a second stay and enjoyed it just as much as the first. The place was clean and welcoming, and the location worked really well for us. We’ll be back.
