Hotel La Corte

We came to Cascia for a soccer tournament, and the kids had cold showers after every game. The hot water wasn't working for either of the two days we were there. Some rooms were cold too, because the heating wasn't working in them. The hotel couldn't come up with a solution.

The staff did a great job cleaning, and the service was great. It's a lovely hotel, with comfortable beds and bathrooms that have towels. The place is under the house, so you have to walk a bit, but it's nice. 🌹🌹🌹🔋🔋

The room was filthy, and the bathroom smelled of urine. We stayed just one night with our family, and the noise made it a night we'll never forget. As soon as we came in, there was a deafening, continuous sound, probably from a generator or some other equipment. We reported it to reception right away, but they seemed not to care and weren't helpful at all. It was a nightmare. The children were restless and awake for hours, and our son, who has a heart condition, jumped whenever the noise started up again. It's unacceptable to put people in a room like that without looking for even a temporary fix or showing a little empathy. The way they handled the problem was far from welcoming and simply not acceptable.

The location made things easy, with the amenities and historic center only a five-minute walk away. I came on a pilgrimage and had a truly wonderful stay. We were three in the room, but they gave us a quadruple, and it was beautiful and had all the comforts. We did have to wait a bit for the keys, but it didn't bother me. The staff were very polite and kind, and the breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, with excellent dishes. I loved the hotel and couldn't find any flaws. I don't understand why earlier reviews gave it one star. It was absolutely worth it.
