We spent New Year’s Eve with Mr. Paolo and had a wonderful time. The rooms were comfortable, well-heated, and had what we needed, so much so that we wished we could have stayed longer. The kitchen is practical, and the oven is excellent. There’s also an outdoor barbecue. The fireplace looked lovely, though we didn’t use it, either because we ran short of time or because the warm rooms made it unnecessary. Parking is plentiful, and there’s a caretaker nearby, which is helpful. The location works well too, with plenty to visit nearby and walks along the Arno River through the slow-paced, enchanting Pisan countryside. We hope to return soon!

The kitchen has everything you need to feel at home, and the accommodation is roomy and comfortable. The owners were so hospitable and helpful, which we really appreciated. It’s peaceful while still being handy for trips around the area, from Pisa and Lucca to the sea. Truly nothing to complain about. Go there!

For anyone who enjoys the countryside but also wants to experience Pisa’s culture, I’d highly recommend this farmhouse. It’s spotless, welcoming, and the owners greeted me so warmly.

A lovely spot in the countryside, yet just a stone’s throw from the city. I recommend it.
