Bed and Breakfast La Torretta

The owner clearly puts a lot of care into welcoming guests. The staff were friendly and ready to help, and the place itself was clean, well organized, and had all the comforts we needed. Its central location makes it convenient for Tuscany’s major cities. Highly recommended!

Getting around was especially convenient: buses stop right outside about every 15 minutes in both directions, and the property is well placed for Pisa, Cisanello Hospital, Cascina town center, and both Cascina and Pisa Centrale stations. There are also a gas station, bar, bakery, pastry shop, pharmacy, and shops close by, so I didn’t need the car for those. Pizzeria Alla Verso is right next door and serves excellent traditional Pisan pizza, not Neapolitan. My room at B&B La Torretta was ready to use when I arrived, with a private bathroom and shower. It was colorful, cozy, and very clean, with all the comforts I needed. The owner was helpful on the phone when I booked and arranged the stay, and gave me information about getting to and from Pisa. The price seemed excellent to me and included breakfast. There’s also a room where you can make coffee, tea, or water whenever you like, and the grinder-equipped coffee machine makes excellent coffee. The whole staff, including the cleaning team, were friendly and helpful. A great experience, highly recommended.

The attic rooms were clean, air-conditioned, and had everything we needed. The water dispenser and coffee maker were excellent and always available. The location is convenient, though being right on the Tosco Romagnola highway makes it a little noisy. Rocco was kind and always available during our short stay, which relatives had recommended to us. A mirror in the bedroom and refillable bathroom dispensers would be useful, to cut down on plastic. The owner is a friend to everyone, and one of the best people I’ve ever met. I’ve stayed here several times and enjoyed excellent dinners. The rooms are spacious, clean, new, and equipped with every comfort. The cooking is authentic and varied, with generous portions every time. Truly exceptional!
