Hotel Villa Maya

We stayed three nights in a lovely room with a group of friends, making the most of the pool, bar, and beautiful setting. The food was great, and everyone on staff was friendly and accommodating. It's close to Pisa airport and the leaning tower. It's a 3 star hotel, but I'd give it 5 stars. I honestly couldn't fault the experience. J. Bond

We came to celebrate our friends Jenny and Mike renewing their vows, 10 years after their wedding, and the place made quite an impression on us. Villa Maya sits beside a field of sunflowers in full bloom, and there's a real sense of charm and calm about it. The ceremony was held under a huge mulberry tree. Its shade made a lovely, almost sacred setting for the guests, and the ritual brought us close together. Later, we moved to another part of the garden for the banquet. A long, Godfather-style table sat beneath huge plane trees beside an all-brick building, a very Tuscan detail. The servers deserve an Oscar for handling all the different requests for celiac, vegetarian, and vegan meals with such care and patience. They never lost patience and took great care to get the right dishes to guests with special dietary needs. These days, feeding everyone can be a real challenge. We spent the afternoon at the pool, dancing, dipping our feet or swimming, laughing, and singing to the heavens. We were grateful for such a happy day. ❤️

Yuri, Suzi, and the whole team made our special occasion with dear friends such a fun time. They were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, and they accommodated all the dietary requirements. The food was delicious. What a perfect spot. Thank you, and we'll see you all again soon. 🙏🏼

The pool and gardens make this a great base for exploring Pisa and the surrounding area. In summer, the set-menu dinner is delicious and served under a huge chestnut tree. It's a charming old villa conversion, and the staff provide great service.
