The price felt high for what we got, and breakfast was pretty limited with little variety. Our room's air conditioning wasn't working right, which was the main problem during our one-night stay. The staff were helpful, though: the person in charge came by several times and eventually got it working after a lot of prompting. I wasn't completely satisfied.

The restaurant is managed separately from the hotel. It's a family-run, home-style trattoria under new management since early 2022, with traditional Piedmontese dishes that vary. The staff are attentive and helpful, and the prices are good for what you get. There are indoor and outdoor tables. Recommended.

The €13 set menu includes everything, and the ingredients were good. I had lunch here today. The manager, who took over after the restaurant closed because of COVID, was friendly and clearly experienced. The broccoli was a touch firmer than I like, though that may just be my preference. The cooking was otherwise decent. I'll come back and try other dishes. Well done!

This is an everyday sort of trattoria, serving traditional food without the frills of creative cuisine. You won't get some bizarre, expensive gastronomic experience here. Instead, you can enjoy a satisfying meal without spending a fortune, and leave feeling you've eaten well rather than wondering what it was or still being hungry. A bit old-fashioned, if that's what you like.
