The CAI trails nearby give sports lovers wonderful views over Caserta, and the Royal Palace is easy to reach. We spent two nights in this beautifully restored 18th-century customs house, with great care put into every detail. The rooms were fresh and clean, the owners were always available and exceptionally kind, and breakfast was delicious. A great place to visit.

The Christmas decorations made the place feel magical. It’s such a unique, welcoming property, with a beautiful view and excellent service and cleanliness. Breakfast had a great choice of sweet and savory things. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. We had an excellent stay and I highly recommend it!

Florinda was attentive to everything we needed at this welcoming B&B. We had a small problem with a tire on Saturday evening, and she pointed us to a repair shop that fixed it on Sunday morning. The location is handy for visiting both Caserta and Naples. We’ll be back!

We slept really well in the basic rooms, and woke to find a sumptuous breakfast set out in the magnificent living room. There was coffee, traditional cakes, yogurt, fruit and more. Giovanni also told us about history, art and legends over breakfast. What a lovely surprise our chance choice turned out to be: a historic stone farmhouse surrounded by greenery, with a garden and fenced parking, a stunning view, and such peace and quiet after a long journey. It’s 4 km from the Royal Palace of Caserta, where we were planning to visit the next day. It was a real pleasure meeting Florinda and Giovanni. Thank you both. Romina M F and family.

Giovanni, congratulations! The place was super clean, and breakfast was plentiful. I loved the familiar, comfortable atmosphere and enjoyed my stay. It’s a great base for getting to know San Leucio di Matera and visiting the Royal Palace and the surrounding area, while staying outside town in the evening and overnight.
