Right on the main street and just steps from the train station and Royal Palace, the apartment is in a terrific location and good value. It looks onto a quiet entrance courtyard, away from traffic noise. The owner was wonderfully kind and helpful. Downstairs there’s a kitchen/dining room with Amalfi-style majolica tiles, a living room with sofa and TV, and a windowless bathroom with a shower. Upstairs are a single bedroom, a double bedroom, and another bathroom with a wall-mounted hairdryer and separate shower. Each bedroom has hot and cold air conditioning, and there are plenty of blankets, which we appreciated because the apartment was a bit chilly. Breakfast supplies were provided in the kitchen, including milk, tea, coffee, chamomile tea, croissants, packaged biscuits, and jam. There’s also a two-burner electric stove, toaster, and fridge. No complaints, though a few details have worn with use and could be repaired, as the owner has already mentioned. A kettle, microwave, and some cookware like a frying pan, pasta pot, and colander would help with a quick meal. The TV is small but easy to see from the sofa, though there isn’t one in the bedroom.

Everything for breakfast was there, and the mini fridge had water. The room was clean and tidy. The air conditioning had a small glitch, but they fixed it straight away and offered us breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. Everyone was kind and courteous.

The city-center location was great, and the room had a kitchenette. The hostess was VERY KIND. But we arrived in the afternoon and found a COCKROACH in the bathroom. I thought, “It can happen.” After we went out, another one came out of the sink when we returned that evening. Again, I thought it can happen. Then we came back that night and found TWO IN THE BED, one on the pillow and one at the foot of the bed under the covers. That was too much. We left in a rage because of the COCKROACHES, which was awful. I’m attaching photos of the last two we found, the one on the pillow and the one in the sink.

The place was clean and comfortable, fairly priced, and set in a courtyard where traffic noise doesn’t reach you. It’s centrally located, very close to the Royal Palace. The kitchenette has what you need for breakfast, including a coffee machine with pods and a small fridge. There were cakes, wafers, milk, crackers, and other things too. The owner was kind as well.

The apartment is simple but welcoming and clean. It’s in a well-served area, just minutes from the Royal Palace, and the location is excellent. The owner’s kindness was extraordinary.
