The location near the centre and the free parking were good, and the price was reasonable. When we arrived, the receptionist was proper, helpful and friendly. That was where the good points ended. Beyond reception, the building looked worn and grubby, and the rooms were the same. There were hairs in the bathroom that weren’t ours and a towel that had already been used. The curtains and doorknobs didn’t invite you to touch them. Breakfast items had to be ordered ahead. We asked for two coffees each, but the next morning all four were brought at once. We wondered what they’d have done if we’d asked for three. At checkout, the front door was locked, and the receptionist was downstairs chatting with the breakfast guy.

We chose this hotel while visiting Caserta to see the Royal Palace. It’s in the city centre, roughly a 20-minute walk from the palace. Our room was roomy, though a bit dated, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was simple but sufficient.

I was out most of the time, so the slightly dated look of my room didn’t bother me. It was spacious, clean and had everything I needed. As a solo traveller, I had a 5/5 stay, largely thanks to the people working there. Everyone was positive, helpful and super friendly, from reception and housekeeping to the food staff. The breakfast choices may seem limited, but I enjoyed what I had and left full. The places I needed to reach were about a 15-minute walk away, which was really convenient. I had a lovely time 😊

The staff were helpful and very polite, and there’s a little private parking area. Breakfast is served in a small dedicated space. The rooms were clean and had recent interior design. You can’t have lunch or dinner at the hotel, but there are good restaurants within walking distance. A good, pleasant place to stay if you’re visiting Caserta, close to the Reggia di Caserta.

I was pregnant and had quite a few requests, including extra pillows, an iron and breakfast in the room. They were incredibly helpful and went beyond what I expected. The room was large, the bathroom was large too, and it was good value.
