Hotel dei Cavalieri Caserta

A very good stay overall. The staff were pleasant, and the rooms felt comfortable and had a very nice view. The hotel’s right in the centre of Caserta, which is a perfect location.

We got lots of useful travel tips from the friendly, helpful staff. The traditional sweet at breakfast was delicious, and there was enough breakfast for us. The room was clean and had all the necessary equipment, though we’d expected it to be larger. The location is lovely, almost in the city centre, about 15 minutes from the train station, so getting there with luggage was easy. There’s a nice park across from the hotel and the surroundings feel charming. One thing that disappointed me for a four-star hotel was the noise. The rooms don’t seem soundproof, and we could hear people bathing in other rooms. All in all, it was a good experience.

Sebastian, the concierge, made our stay much more memorable with his warm manner and great tips about the area. The front desk people were good too, and the atmosphere felt relaxed. Maintenance was high quality, and the rooms were clean, well equipped, with soft towels and comfortable beds. Breakfast had plenty of fresh, tasty continental options, and you could ask for coffee made just how you wanted it. There’s parking beside the hotel for 10 euros per 24 hours, just ask at the desk for a voucher. The hotel’s a wonderful little gem in the heart of Caserta. The Palace is an easy walk away, and its gardens stretch for an amazing 3.5 km. Definitely go see them.

There’s a park right across the street that’s a nice place to relax. The hotel is a short walk, about 10 minutes, from Via San Carlo and downtown Caserta, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars for aperitivo nearby. The front desk is staffed 24 hours, our room was very nice, the air conditioning worked well and the staff were attentive. We’d definitely stay again on our next trip to Caserta.
