It's a beautiful place, but our apartment really wasn't okay, and the owner's dogs were extremely loud. They barked around the clock and kept us awake for three nights, so we left three days early. The owner acknowledged the problem and offered us another house, but the noise was just as bad there, so that didn't solve it. He wouldn't help us afterward. Booking.com's customer service was especially nonexistent and took no responsibility. Never again.

The owner was five stars, and we really enjoyed our two weeks here with our dog. The kitchen was fully equipped and the rooms were big. It's a very central spot, about an hour from each city, so we could really make the most of our time.

A nice place to stay, with a comfortable bed and rooms that didn't get too hot. The WiFi wasn't great, but if you found the right room, it was usable for YouTube, Netflix, and basic web searches. There are also some very nice cats who enjoy being petted.

This was our third family trip to Tuscany from the UK, and it was our favorite. My eight-year-old son LOVED it, and the owners and staff are the best people too.

The quiet is what makes this village such a good place to switch off. Wifi, or at least I didn't look for it, and phone and internet reception were very poor, which let us disconnect from everyday routines and recharge without schedules or limits. If you're lucky, you might spot hares or roe deer among the ancient woods and other animals. The village sits in the middle of nowhere, with green space and flowers all around. There are three pools, four barbecues, and multi-level apartments with plenty of comforts, from fully equipped kitchens to fireplaces in the living rooms and spacious, bright bathrooms. You can cook for yourself or head to local places nearby. A true, incredible paradise on earth.
