We were a big group of family and friends visiting the area for a wedding, and Danilo and his team looked after all of us so well. Great hotel and location, with fantastic service and attention from the staff.

Our room had four of us in it, but we only got one shower cap. The rooms are outdated and look haunted. The elevator is slow and makes strange noises, and the chair in our room was decorated as if it were for a wedding.

We were really comfortable and couldn’t find fault with anything. The shower was the best I’ve had in a hotel, with good pressure, and the bathrooms and bedrooms were spacious. Everything was clean, well decorated, and roomy throughout. Great food, service, and comfortable beds too. What a great find in a beautiful historic location.

The restaurant had a wide choice of food, carefully prepared and served with attention, and breakfast was great too. The structure is excellent, the location is good, and staff at every level were very helpful and attentive. We really enjoyed our 16 days at this hotel.

After a long drive we were tired, so we asked if pizzas and drinks could be brought to our room. They said it was no problem, and were patient with our fractured Italian. The breakfast was nice, and the staff friendly. It’s relatively cheap despite the amazing food, garden, lovely building, and views. There isn’t much to do nearby, though Monte Cassino is very close. A great place.
