B&B La Costa

There's a small museum about the Battle of Montecassino, with photos and artifacts, and it's really beautiful. The B&B itself is interesting, and the hosts are friendly and courteous. They can accommodate gluten intolerance and special requests. The one downside is that it's far from the station, so ask for a ride if you need one.

A simple, good place to stay, with really friendly hosts. The decor has an interesting theme, and there's a terrace to enjoy in the evenings. The bathroom might be shared, though it wasn't for us, and we wouldn't have minded if it had been. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for basic accommodation.

The hillside around the house is quiet and green, with lovely mountain scenery and the Monte Cassino monastery nearby. The rooms are lovely, and the house has more information about the town's history. The owner and her husband were warm and friendly, and we chatted in Italian even though I only know the basics. When I arrived in May after falling off my bike, I needed a repair. The neighbor, who's also a road cyclist, helped me out, which was fantastic. La Costa is a very welcoming B&B on the outskirts of Cassino, and I'd love to return.

If you're not heading straight home after visiting Montecassino, stop in Cassino. You'll love it. The house is charming, welcoming, clean, and tidy, with a bit of chic style too. Mrs. Cristina is friendly, generous, and always ready to help.
