The location is handy for the highway, and parking on site is free. It worked well as a stop on the way south, though we barely had time to see anything. Montecassino looked well worth visiting. The property itself is clean and cared for, with roomy accommodations and two decent TVs, one in each room. There’s a lovely pool, 180 cm deep at the deepest point, with loungers, an umbrella, and a place to relax. It sits by a beautiful English garden, though guests can’t access the garden, apart from tireless Mimmo ;-)! Breakfast was sweet but rather sparse. The excellent pastries rescued what might otherwise have been a negative impression. We found the welcome somewhat cool and distant. There were only towels for two, although three of us were staying, and the minibar was empty apart from a large bottle of water.

For a visit to Cassino, this is a good option if you want roomy, charming accommodation and care about the little details.
