Carlo's Hotel

We had a lovely stay and thought it was great value. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the garden was a beautiful place to unwind. Staff were very kind and attentive to what we needed. We were there for two days, August 5th and 6th, for my son’s birthday. We’ll definitely return.

We came during the August holiday weekend. The rooms were really spacious and very clean, and the staff were friendly. There’s a small hydromassage pool too. Breakfast was simple, with croissants and savory options, plus jams. It’s a good base for visiting Bolgheri and Castagneto, and only 5 minutes from the sea. I recommend it.

We had dinner at their restaurant, "L'Apparino", and the waitress was so kind to my two little girls. Breakfast was good too, with homemade cakes and cappuccino from the bar. The room was very spacious, with a big bathroom and a view over the hotel’s really well-kept inner park. The hotel is also very well placed: 5 minutes from the village of Castagneto Carducci, 8 minutes from the sea, 5 from the Cavallino Matto park, and 15 from the Gallorose park. We stayed two nights over the May 1st long weekend. After getting several quotes, we thought the prices were fair and felt it was really worth it.

It’s a family-run place, quiet and well located for the beach and nearby towns. The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was included. We also paid extra to eat at the attached restaurant, L'Appartino, and had a delicious meal. We’ll definitely come back.
