Il Chiassetto Bolgheri

The location in the little village of Bolgheri was lovely, and the rooms were very nice. Everything else, including the cleanliness and staff, was really good too. My only complaint was the bed: small and much too soft. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Meeting Sara and Francesca, who run the family business with their father, is well worth it. Their excellent wine reflects their courage and strength. Matteo was always friendly and available, and made us feel especially welcome. Our room was comfortable, clean and carefully maintained. We loved the stay and hope to come back soon.

Matteo runs the B&B and was incredibly kind and always on hand. He gave us great tips about the area, helped with everything, and even let us park in his garden. With its central setting, you can get a feel for real village life, especially in the mornings and evenings after the tourists have left.

We've been visiting Bolgheri for years and keep coming back to Matteo. He's always attentive and so helpful. The location is excellent, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Recommended.
