Agriturismo Boaria Bassa

We picked this place almost at random, and it was such a lovely discovery. Our room was bright and roomy, with a view over the fields, and the spacious private bathroom had a big window. Breakfast was generous, with both sweet and savory choices. The owners were delightful and kindly ready to help with every request. We decided to have dinner as soon as we arrived, and were glad we did: traditional food made with care, generous servings, and excellent value. It was so quiet, with fields all around. A real oasis in the Mantua countryside.

The prices are reasonable compared with other places nearby. What stands out most is how simple and kind everyone is, and how readily they help and look after you. You feel at home and can unwind in the countryside, away from the noise and rush of the city. Each time we return, we notice new improvements that make guests' stays more pleasant and comfortable. Well done, and thank you!

Cristina and Giacomo took care of our wedding dinner as well as decorating the garden and rooms. We ate wonderfully, with traditional local food alongside some innovative dishes, all in the refined rustic setting we wanted. The flowers from Fiordifiori di Castel d'Ario added the finishing touch and made a real difference. Everything was perfect!

The rooms at this agriturismo are quite basic, but the food was delicious, homemade, and made with quality local ingredients. Dinner was enormous: homemade crescenta with local cured meats, pumpkin ravioli, risotto alla pilota with sausage and spare ribs, local cheeses with three kinds of mustard, desserts, fruit salad, excellent prosecco, and homemade liqueurs to end the meal. The prices were fair.
