That breakfast terrace overlooking the lake is a lovely spot, and breakfast itself was generous. Our room had what we needed, though getting to the ensuite toilet means walking through the shower area. It sounded odd, but it worked fine for us, and we managed to keep the bathroom floor dry. Anyone expecting a five-star hotel may want somewhere else. We came for genuine hospitality and the feel of an Italy from another time, and Eleonora and her partner were wonderfully welcoming when we arrived. They even spent a good while helping us fix our bikes. The little village near the lake is lovely and has that old-fashioned Italian charm.

The lake-view rooms let you drift off with moonlight shining on the water outside. Breakfast was plentiful and served on a beautiful terrace, with a lovely view of the surrounding nature. From the moment you arrive in this small village and welcoming B&B, the pace seems to stop and the atmosphere feels almost magical. The owner is kind and always ready to help. We came with our furry friend, who was welcomed too, and the place was spotless. Breakfast was huge, with plenty to choose from, and everything tasted great. It’s such a peaceful place to sleep and unwind, with lots of lovely things to see nearby. The welcome was special, and everyone could learn from the way Eleonora does things ;-) We’ll be back, and I highly recommend it.

We stayed in a great spot for Porretta Blues Festival, only a 10-minute drive away. The rooms have a rustic feel and views of the lake, and the hospitality and service were fantastic. Breakfast had everything you could imagine, and then some. Thank you, Eleonora, for being so kind and welcoming. I also loved seeing the custom-made guitars displayed by the great Emiliano, and hope I get to meet him someday. A lovely choice for a really relaxing weekend or vacation. 👍👍👍🔥🔥
