Podere Sant’ Egidio

A nice place for a wedding, with several outbuildings and a pleasant pool where you can relax.

There was room for everyone across the four families, all 20 of us, and we really enjoyed spending time together. Thanks to Andrea, the owner, Sara, who helped us with check-in, check-out and everything in between, and super Manuel, who always finds us excellent places.

It’s a great choice if you want peace and quiet. The farmhouse itself is calm, and so is the small town it’s in. The nearest supermarket or grocery store is about a 10-minute drive away.

We rented Podere Sant'Egidio in June 2019 for a group of 20. It looked great in the online pictures and at first glance, but issues kept coming up. Some doors wouldn’t shut properly, the refrigerator wouldn’t close right, and the dishwasher kept turning itself off. The extra beds were very uncomfortable, and they cost another €100. On the second day, the water supply was interrupted. There were ants by the pool, and poisonous caterpillars in the garden, some of which caused severe rashes. Stray dogs could also get onto the property through gaps in the fence. For a house costing several thousand euros a week, I expected it to be in much better shape. Then several hundred euros were taken from our security deposit. Only two minor damages were justified. The rest, including the claims about dirty couch cushions, was completely made up. We won’t be back, and I absolutely wouldn’t recommend this house.
