The rooftop balcony overlooking Lake Albano was the highlight, the view was stunning. We stayed two nights, Sept 30-Oct 1, in the Raphaello suite, which was exactly as advertised. Katia and Mimmo greeted us, carried our luggage upstairs, and even helped arrange our ride from Rome FCO airport. We had a fantastic stay at Atlantis Inn in Castel Gandolfo. Thanks for everything, Katia and Mimmo!

An authentic little local hotel with lovely lake views, including from the room in my photo. The manager was incredibly helpful, even though I wasn’t a guest. I’d definitely recommend it over an airbnb or similar.

The staff were lovely, and the location couldn’t be better. Our lake-view room had a beautiful outlook. Just be aware there are a lot of stairs inside, which made things a little tricky with our baby stroller.

Mimo and Katya were so kind, and their suggestions for places to eat and visit were wonderful. The “Raffaello” room has two levels of living space and a terrace looking out over the volcanic lake. Fabulous hotel, and Grazie mille!

The whole small castle area feels peaceful and beautiful, almost like being in a movie. The rooms were clean, nice, fairly modern, and still quaint. The friendly, accommodating team is connected with the local restaurants and other places. Highly recommended!
