La Casa con il Bosco

I wouldn't recommend this place. The accommodation wasn't clean: there was dust two centimeters deep, and cobwebs that looked centuries old, with spiders bigger than my head. I booked based on the house shown in the website photos, but the real place didn't match them. The owner admitted that herself when I complained. She also said I had to pay for the hours a guest spent with me in the house, even just for coffee, and insinuated what kind of relationship we might have had XD. The owner lives in the same small complex, so she keeps track of what you're doing. Nothing to hide, of course, but she seemed ready with a calculator to count how long my guest stayed over coffee. There were family disputes and arguments at 7 in the morning that made me jump out of bed. Is it worth it? I'd say no, and I'll stop there.

The apartment was roomy and comfortable, with clean, spacious rooms. We made use of the kitchen, including the refrigerator and oven, and really enjoyed our stay. My girlfriend and I were there for one night, and the owner was extremely helpful. There was covered parking available.

The lake view is splendid, and the place is welcoming, clean, and tastefully furnished. Kudos to Mrs. Alessandra, who was an excellent hostess.

The house is small but well looked after, surrounded by greenery right at the foot of the lake. We had a really good time, and the welcome felt warm and genuine.
