B&B Antico Casale

The location in Castel Giorgio is beautiful, and getting to the nearby towns around Lake Bolsena is easy. We’ve stayed here several times over the years, and the old stone farmhouse has been kept in excellent condition. I’ve tried almost all the rooms by now, and they’ve all been comfortable and clean. The atmosphere is lovely, and Nicole is warm and pleasant, making you feel like part of the family. She always gives guests a little homemade gift. Breakfast is excellent too, with fresh homemade tarts, jams, and cakes. A stay worth trying!

That small chocolate waiting in our son’s room and the “Good morning, green room” sign at the table were simple touches that made us feel special. The welcome from the daughter was warm and thoughtful from the start, and we felt at home. We stayed at this Antico Casale B&B in Castel Pietro, where our comfortable room was well cared for and the food was delicious and authentic. Breakfast was a treat, with carefully made homemade desserts. In the shared living room, there’s a fireplace, a lovely sofa, old paintings, and a large chest of board games for kids, great for relaxing together. There’s always water ready, too. We were there for one night with family, including a small child, and friends, while attending a wedding nearby. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. They let us fit one extra person into a room and accepted last-minute cancellations without charging extra. Since we all got back late from the party, they offered us a late breakfast and let us stay until late morning. The B&B was clean and well organized, and the team was flexible and accommodating. I definitely recommend it. Thanks again!

Breakfast was the best part, with homemade cakes and jams from the lovely, kind owner Nicole. Everything was excellent, and I’ll be back. This quaint old farmhouse is surrounded by nature and makes a simple but memorable place to slow down and get away from city life. The attention to detail and service are a real plus. Its location between Umbria and Lazio is handy for visiting Bolsena, Celleno (a ghost town), and Orvieto. A great spot if you’re after peace and relaxation. ❤️
