We arrived when we were supposed to, then waited over an hour with nobody there to check us in. When we called, the response was rude: they said they don't speak English, then hung up.

The grounds were the best part: a spacious green park, a pleasant pool, and Orvieto only 15 minutes away. But our apartment was just 40 square meters, despite there being four of us, and cost the same as units about twice its size. It felt like a rip-off. The room cleaning was poor, the furniture was worn out, and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable. There was nowhere for our suitcases, so they ended up on the floor. There's potential here, but it needs a lot of work.

The staff were so friendly, and the pool was a bright, peaceful spot to relax. The farmhouse is surrounded by greenery, with medieval villages just steps away where history and culture come together. A lovely place for a quiet, relaxing stay.

I hadn't come across this place before, even though I've been visiting the area since I was a kid. We were taken with the setting and the enormous pool, which made the stay so much better. We'll be back for sure!
