The town is easy to explore on foot from here, and the manager had plenty of helpful suggestions for seeing Castelbuono and the area around it. I really liked staying here. There’s a lot of care in the little details, and the place feels special. The manager was very kind and gentle.

The historic center is right outside, and this clean, welcoming place has the church bells to mark the unhurried pace of a relaxing stay. We didn’t need earplugs. Thank you.

We had a warm, friendly welcome, and the apartment is well equipped, but I wouldn’t choose it again. It’s small for four, and the entrance is shared with a cultural association. That meant there was a chance of opening the door in the morning to find someone at the desk, which we hadn’t been told about when booking. For one night, the price also felt excessive given these drawbacks. Its central location overlooking the small square is a plus.

Finding a parking space near the property takes a lot of patience. Still, the apartment is right in central Castelbuono, comfortable and functional, with good value for money and a warm welcome from the owner. For breakfast, you can eat in the apartment or head to a great café just 20 meters away.

Breakfast on the terrace, a view over the town square, and a room full of elegant details made this an unexpected find in a lovely village in the magnificent Madonie Mountains. There’s even earplugs in case the bells bother you. The place has a real sense of theater and culture. Hard to imagine asking for more.
