The backyard pool and BBQ area were beautiful, clean and well cared for. The apartments' owner, Guido, was one of the nicest people we met on our Sicily holiday. When we had questions, we could ask his parents, who live in the bottom apartment, or message Guido. He always replied quickly and was professional, friendly and extremely helpful. You can walk to the centre of Casteldaccia and its hotspots, though I recommend renting a car to get to most places. Guido even helped us find a car rental business. The train station is within walking distance, with quick, cheap trips to Palermo, Cefalu and places in between. A really nice place to stay, looked after by lovely, helpful people!

The owner was very friendly and helpful, and the views from the rear terrace were fantastic. The road by the pool was busier than I expected, and the pool wasn't very clean, perhaps because it was the end of the season. The bathroom could use some improvement too.
