Klass Hotel

The rooms were spacious and clean, and dinner was excellent with very good service. Breakfast was a bit chaotic. You can order freshly cooked omelette, fried eggs, and similar dishes at your table. We both asked for fried eggs and bacon but got omelette instead, and I had to request my coffee twice because the first one never arrived. Even with that breakfast mix-up, we had a pleasant stay.

Check-in was smooth, and I was given my room key without any trouble. My room had toiletries, a hair dryer, a small TV, and a balcony. There are also a swimming pool and hot tub beside a relaxation area. The hotel has good amenities and helpful staff, though the breakfast was only decent and had limited vegetarian choices if you don't eat eggs. I could hear people knocking on doors down the corridor, so the rooms could use better soundproofing. Also, the sockets only take the thinner two-pin plugs, so be prepared.

I was very disappointed by my visit. At check-in, I asked about the pool and was told the whole pool area was still closed. I'd chosen this hotel based on the attractive photos of the pool and sunbeds, which turned out to be very misleading. During booking, there was no way to know these facilities wouldn't be available in late May. The receptionist said I should have known, that it was mentioned somewhere in the small print under “facilities,” and that I'd still be charged in full if I left instead of staying as planned. Their reasoning was, “there IS a pool. Yes, it is closed, but it is there, so not a valid reason for cancellation.” I left right away to find somewhere else to enjoy the good weather. I found the receptionist's attitude poor, unprofessional, stubborn, and completely dismissive of the obvious facts. Separately, the whole area felt empty, with many places shut and a really strange vibe. I wouldn't recommend visiting this area in late May.

There’s an unpleasant sweaty smell in the rooms. They could use some air freshener to make them nicer.
