This place felt like home, with a cozy atmosphere and lots of character. It's for travelers who want to get a feel for the place they visit, rather than just be tourists. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel is well located near a lively, lovely city piazza, with nice restaurants close by. Right in the heart of Tuscany, it's a great base for exploring the area, and the train station is very close too. The owner, zia Romana, was wonderful, and the rest of the staff were just as lovely. They looked after us like family.

The rooms get too cold in winter, though the lady is very kind.

They took all our money, gold, and papers, then kicked us out. Don't go to this hotel!

The big rooms and high ceilings, along with the beautiful staircase, give this hotel in the town center a feel from another era. It's next to the theater. The amenities aren't modern, but that wasn't an issue for us. The real problem was the event on the ground floor and in the courtyard. The DJ's music was extremely loud until two in the morning, and we couldn't sleep in our room at the back. We knew there'd be an evening with music, but nobody said it would go on that late or be so loud. When we left, no one was at reception, so we left a written complaint and never heard back. Check whether there's an event before booking.
