Locanda Le Boscarecce

I left feeling rested and cared for. Susanna and Massimo made sure my little baby was happy and safe, showering him with affection and even helping prepare his meals. Their care really stood out. The bedrooms were comfortable and very clean, with bed linens that felt better than a 5-star hotel. The food was delicious and clearly made with love. The place itself is peaceful and tidy, a real escape from everyday life, and we had breathtaking sunsets each evening. From the moment I arrived, they were so warm and welcoming. Susanna and Massimo’s place is a hidden gem for a memorable, rejuvenating holiday. I highly recommend it.

We spent five wonderful days at Le Boscarecce, after other plans fell through and Susanna was able to fit us in. I’ve stayed for years at her sister property, Hotel Albion in Florence, and have always loved it. This was just as special. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Italy, and Susanna made us feel like family. She knows the area so well and sent us to places that were new to me, with hardly any crowds, even after more than 15 yearly trips to Italy. The inn is in beautiful Tuscan countryside, yet close enough for day trips to lovely hilltop towns. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and immaculate, with huge bathtubs. After exploring, it was so relaxing to come back for a glass of wine and a gorgeous sunset. We also enjoyed a cooking class and a dip in the pool. I can’t recommend Le Boscarecce enough. I’ll certainly be back!

We’ve stayed at Le Boscarecce twice, first with my family in 2014, then I brought my husband back in 2022 for our honeymoon. Out of all the places we stayed in Italy and Tuscany, it was our favourite by far both times. Susanna and Massimo make you feel like family, and it’s clear they truly love what they do. Such a special place, a little slice of heaven. Definitely stay here!

The walks here are a must, through the rose garden or down the lane with olive trees on both sides. The rooms were cozy and quaint, and the towels were to die for! Susanna was a wonderful hostess and chef, and she’ll share all the local secrets about where to go and what to see. She even gives you a laminated map to find your way around. The central location also made it easy to drive around Tuscany and visit all the “must see” spots. Le Boscarecce was heaven on earth in Tuscany. We highly recommend it for a memorable visit and can’t wait to return!
