Maramaldo Sassicaia, Shared Pool, Chianti

The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and there’s plenty of parking. Getting there on the dirt road is a bumpy ride, though, but well worth it. We had a wonderful stay in this charming holiday home, around 60 m², with a comfortable bedroom, modern bathroom, cozy living room, well-equipped kitchen, and everything else we needed. The Tuscan landscape views are breathtaking. We were almost alone on the property, so it felt like having our own private villa. The garden is beautiful, the pool is amazing, and there was plenty of room for our dog. At night, the fireflies and frogs made the peaceful setting feel magical. Highly recommended if you’re looking for peace, beauty, and authenticity in Tuscany.

The scenery was breathtaking, with pine trees, olive trees, and vines stretching as far as you could see. There’s lots of open space, and we woke to birds playing outside our apartment. The hosts were very friendly and did everything to make us feel like kings and queens at their agriturismo. Appartment Galestro was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The pool was a real plus for cooling off after long days in firenze, siena, san gmigiano, or other hotspots. It’s ideally located for exploring beautiful tuscany. We had a magnificent time, and since it was our first visit, we WILL surely go back to Maramaldo! Two small suggestions: a parking space closer to the apartments would be convenient, as the climb to the parking area isn’t suitable for everyone. We found a way to get the car before leaving. Also, arriving in the dark makes you feel in the middle of nowhere, which is the point, but it’s pitch black. More lighting along the road might be a good idea.

There was plenty of space, but the place was basic and uncomfortable, apart from the nice bed. Wi-Fi was absent some days and barely usable on the others, which made planning difficult and got in the way of entertainment.
