Fattoria Casamora

The people at Casamora were so warm and welcoming, and really made an effort to make our visit special. It's a place that could suit a relaxing break or a special event, and I can't recommend it enough. The renovated old monastery is stunning, with lovely rooms and villas, a memorable pool and park, and a real sense of calm. We spent time wandering the gardens and cooling off in the pool after exploring. The homemade pasta at the restaurant was incredible, and the book space was a nice touch. We'd barely arrived before we were taken with the place. I'm already dreaming of returning to Casamora in Tuscany.

I really liked how peaceful it was, with lovely grounds, a beautiful pool, and a design that mixes contemporary comfort with the old building. The rooms felt luxurious, the staff were friendly and easy to reach by message, and there was a very cute black Labrador. Reggello was one of the nearby villages we enjoyed going to for dinner. The honesty bar was a nice idea, and the fresh breakfast croissants were amazing. A few practical things could be better. Air conditioning costs extra, which wasn't clear until checkout. The honesty bar had no soft drinks or water, even though they were listed, and no milk for coffee. There wasn't a coffee machine in the room for early starts, and an indoor shared coffee spot would help. Breakfast was enough for us, but cheese only appeared on day two, I couldn't eat the ham, and there would be very little for a vegan. There was cereal but no bowls, and breakfast in the cold, rather soulless downstairs room wasn't ideal. The beds could use mattress toppers, and more snack or lunch choices and pool umbrellas would be welcome. Also, there were lots of bugs, so bring bug spray. Even with those observations, we had a lovely time and I'd definitely return. I recommended it to a family member for a wedding, since it could be great for a big family trip. There seems to be more the place could offer, but I'd happily do it all again.

The people were the best part, though the pool, restaurant, garden, and book space were all great too. This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed, and I honestly could live here. It was such a pleasure to spend time at this wonderful property. I hope we get to come back!

We went for my daughter's three-day wedding celebration, and everything turned out so well. The place looked stunning, our accommodation was amazing, and the attentive staff made us feel like one big extended family. We loved it and highly recommend it.
