The kids were easy to keep an eye on here: the guest area is tucked away from the beach bustle and has a generously sized pool. Our apartment was roomy enough to put our child to bed without having to tiptoe around in case they woke up. The hosts were wonderful, and the valley setting near Chianti Reggione, where some of Italy's best wines are made, was beautiful. As a Polish person, I'm supposedly good at finding things to moan about, but I couldn't fault the place. Another thumbs up!

We visited in the fall, when none of the other guests were around, so I can only imagine how lively it gets in summer. It's a small hotel with five or six family apartments, plus a pool, bikes, and a barbecue. The owners were kind and always ready to help. They even printed our boarding passes when we asked and brought them to us before we left. A huge thank you to Johnny for that.
