B&B La Lampara

We felt at home even while away on holiday, thanks to the hosts who welcomed us like family. Breakfast was delicious and changed every day, with pancakes one morning. Cristina, Costabile and Angela, thanks again for making us feel so welcome. We hope to see you again! The location is great, just a few steps from the main road with shops and a supermarket, and 50m from the seaside, where we watched a wonderful sunset. The room was nice, spacious, cleaned daily, and had a great bathroom. We also enjoyed relaxing among the beautiful plants in the garden. Ask the hosts where to eat or what to visit nearby, they'll be happy to help.

La lampara is a small, family-run BnB with few rooms, which helps keep things peaceful. I've stayed twice, and each time my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. It was cleaned every morning too. The room price included a spot in a private parking lot about a five-minute walk away, with no extra charge. That's a real luxury at such an accessible price. I loved waking up to the smell of cakes and sweets that Cristina and her mother in law bake downstairs each morning. Breakfast also includes fresh summer fruit, and you can try local figs picked each morning from the courtyard garden. I thought they were incredibly sweet and tasty. For a genuine local experience, La lampara is a lovely choice. It's in central Santa Maria di Castellabate, on a quiet, pleasant road with the sea a two-minute walk one way and the Main Street the other. The guesthouse feels cozy and homey, surrounded by beautiful sunsets over the water, historic buildings, and clear sea. Cristina, the owner and soul of the accommodation, and her team are welcoming and supportive, and make guests feel like part of the family. You can reach downtown in five minutes on foot, passing the sea on one side and the best restaurants on the other. Food around town is mostly excellent. I'd strongly recommend La Lampara. Between the cozy place and the kindness of Cristina, her family, and the staff, you may leave your heart there.

Mrs. Cristina is so welcoming and friendly, a real sweetheart. Our large room was super clean and had a balcony. The B&B is centrally located, and breakfast in the comfortable garden area was excellent, with lots of choices and amazing homemade jams. We'll definitely be back!

We spent five days at this wonderful property and didn't want to leave. Its location puts you almost halfway between the sea and the main street. Our spacious, comfortable room and bathroom were spotless and had every comfort. The small balcony had a lovely view and somewhere to hang clothes. It's a safe place, and one we'll gladly return to.
