Country House 3 Stars Castellabate

Tucked into the green Cilento, Araba Phoenix Country House in Santa Maria di Castellabate feels like a little paradise. It's peaceful, relaxing and full of character, with the sea just steps away. Gabriella looks after every detail with care and passion, and her kindness and warmth made the stay feel especially lovely. Breakfast was superb, with yogurt and rose syrup, jams and honey, all made by Gabriella herself. Highly recommended if you're after somewhere beautiful and quiet.

We had a warm welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were fresh and clean, and the place felt like a peaceful oasis. Breakfast was generous and traditional, and the sea was easy to reach, just a five-minute drive away. A great stay!

The room was roomy, with tall wooden ceilings and a little terrace tucked into the greenery. Breakfast was a real highlight, all homemade, from the ring cake to the jams. The fig jam was especially good, and the honey was delicious. Araba Phoenix feels like a place from another time, peaceful and calm. Mrs. Gabriella is thoughtful and knows so much, and her daughter Flavia is very sweet. They made us feel truly welcome and looked after. Those breakfasts are something else, and Gabriella's way of making and serving them helps you forget everything outside for a while. She's such a lovely person, very sweet and always ready to help. The place itself is a little paradise, quiet and full of greenery, with a really distinctive feel. It's a great fit if you want to switch off, and the sea is only a few kilometers away.
