The view from the apartment was unforgettable, with sunsets, the sea, the city, the night skyline, and beach all in sight. The old building has an authentic feel, and parking right out front was handy. Getting in with a code was easy and secure. Staff were welcoming, and letting us check out a little later was a kind gesture we appreciated. We especially liked the comfortable bed and nice linens, the shower with a sea view, and having a bidet. There was also a dining area available at any time, with cold still and sparkling water, juices, and sweets. It worked well for remote work as well as a romantic getaway. The beach is directly below the apartments, though the residence is up on a hill, so it's about a seven-minute drive to reach it. We stayed in the second half of September, when there were few tourists and the weather was a comfortable 27°C without intense heat. The ancient town is authentic, with narrow lanes and charming streets winding up and down the hillside, lovely to explore on foot. Nearby, we enjoyed a meal at Bonora, a five-minute walk away, and found fresh local produce at good prices at Frutteria da Giovanna, about seven minutes away. The room had a breathtaking view, and the hosts were genuinely kind and helpful. Staying in the charming old town high on the hill felt priceless, with the sea always in sight.

The room, balcony, and view were all just right. I booked the junior suite for its spectacular balcony and wasn't disappointed during my two-night trip through Puglia, Basilicata, and Campania. The only thing I missed was a large mirror, and that's hardly much to complain about. Breakfast was good and came with a wide, beautiful view. The surroundings are peaceful, but you can walk straight into Castellabate. Parking under the B&B was easy, and they also have private parking nearby. Everyone was friendly and greeted me with a big smile, so I felt very welcome. I'd definitely recommend it.

Our suite was amazing, with a large terrace and lovely views, even from the shower. We also enjoyed breakfast on the beautiful garden terrace. Ciro was friendly and really helpful, including recommending The Bonora, which had views and was open on a Monday evening when most places were closed. We had a wonderful stay last week and would love to return for longer.

Ciro and his wife Cristina are so friendly and accommodating, and they really look after you. The hotel has a homey, picture-perfect feel, with a sea view I think is unmatched anywhere in Italy. Prices are extremely reasonable for such a dreamlike stay. Castellabate is a beautiful little commune, full of things to explore and very nice people. I almost want to keep this place to myself. It feels like an experience of a lifetime. I can't wait to come back!
