Nino really went out of his way to look after us. He sorted out restaurant and sightseeing tips, asked what we liked for breakfast, and each morning picked up freshly made gluten-free pastries for my girlfriend. He even went to the post office to pay my parking ticket, saying I was on holiday and should relax. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Breakfast came with fruit, yoghurt, coffee, a Sicilian pastry, and croissants made locally with a filling we could choose. We were also given sandwiches and water for lunch. Nino was welcoming and flexible, meeting us at the time we chose, and offered useful advice on places to visit and eat. Our room and bed were clean and comfortable, and we had a fantastic stay.

Araciu is close to the beach and made a lovely base in Castellammare. The host was warm and welcoming, and gave us useful advice for each day's plans. Breakfast had a changing mix of sandwiches and pastries, plus fruit, cereal, and yoghurt, and we could take food and water with us for the day. The rooms were modern and very clean. We were so happy with our choice.
