The bed was comfortable, but there were plenty of unresolved issues at B&B Casa Vacanze on Corso 29, and the manager fell short in several ways. We were met with a strong sewage and damp smell, though thankfully it didn't get into the apartment. The place was poorly maintained, especially the bathroom: the bidet faucet was missing its tip, the sink was clogged, and we had to buy drain cleaner. There was no toilet paper either, so we bought some ourselves. Most frustratingly, we got no information or tips on finding free parking, even though central Castellamare del Golfo only has paid parking.
