The garden is very nice and well cared for. It’s a pleasant place if you get an apartment with a balcony, but ours only had two very small windows, both in the bedroom. With our 3- and 6-year-old kids, that wasn’t ideal. The kitchen was also basic and small. Getting out of the driveway and onto the road was really difficult.

You’ll need a car to reach this quiet, remote place, but the stay is worth the drive. We were given a free upgrade to a larger apartment with a better view. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and always available when we needed them. I’d love to come back one day.

The views all around are incredible, and the greenery has been arranged to give a sense of privacy. The swimming pool is open 24 hours. The rooms are large, and some have a separate bedroom and living area. A beautiful place for a short or long stay. Absolutely recommend!

Peppino made our week, such a wonderful host. The apartment was comfortable and spotless, with air conditioning; we had two rooms for us and our two sons. We loved having breakfast, then relaxing in the garden or pool, which stays open around the clock. It's peaceful here but still handy for the beaches, Castellamare, Scopello and Zingaro, and even Palermo and Erice. Don't hesitate if you're exploring western Sicily.

We only discovered this place for our final two days in Sicily, and I wish we'd found it earlier. The rooms were roomy and had a kitchen, the grounds and pool were lovely, and the views were beautiful. Everything was very clean, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was delicious.
