That very hard bed was the one thing that stopped me giving this place five stars. I’d still stay again, though. The sea-view setting on a charming square was lovely, the staff were helpful and considerate, and I really enjoyed the rooftop terrace. Street parking is tough, so booking a space in their small garage is a good idea.

The value for money is hard to beat, and the location is excellent. It’s a beautiful, peaceful hotel with its own parking lot, and the staff are friendly without being intrusive. I’ll return whenever I’m in Sicily.

The harbour area has plenty of good spots for food and drinks, and the location makes it easy to explore nearby. We stayed three nights in a lovely, spacious, clean room with cooking facilities. The rooftop is a great place for an evening drink. We booked the garage in advance, at £10 a night.

The apartment looks nice and was clean, but comfort is where it falls short. The beds weren’t very comfortable, there’s no kitchen extractor or dishwasher, and you can hear everything because the apartments aren’t soundproof. Some are also close to streetlights without proper blackout coverings. The location is excellent, the staff are very friendly and service minded, and breakfast was very good. It feels more focused on looks than comfort.

We had an apartment with a fantastic sea view, and there was plenty of room. For its size and quality, the price was very good, and it would suit a stay of several days. It’s a handy base for exploring the region, beaches, and nature reserve. Ask about the hotel’s private parking ahead of time to avoid paid parking. We’d love to stay again.
