Sole di Castellammare

The owner was kind and helpful. Although we didn't meet in person, messages were clear and replies came promptly. We appreciated the coffee, tea, biscuits, and bottle of water they left for us. The clean apartment had air conditioning and a little terrace with a lovely sea view, but the bathroom had a couple of problems, especially the broken bidet drain. We couldn't lift the plug. We were on the second floor, and there was no elevator. The stairs are very narrow, which was awkward with bulky suitcases. The location is handy, with free parking around it and the historic center just steps away. The seafront, its many restaurants, and the beaches are less than a 10-minute walk. It was quiet at night. We enjoyed our stay, though some practical details could be better. For the price, you can find more comfortable places in Sicily.
