Uliveto House is family-run, and Nonna and Patrizia were incredible hosts. The four of us, two couples, had a great stay in April and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast among the olive trees. We also celebrated my friend’s birthday there. Nonna made us a delicious homemade six-course meal. Go if you want to experience real Sicilian hospitality and food.

I stayed at Uliveto House in late September 2021, and the olives looked very healthy that year. Come in late October or November and you can watch the harvest, or even help pick olives and make olive oil. They produce small-batch EVOO. The owner, Patrizia, lives on the olive farm with her mother. She’s a great chef, makes olive oil, and speaks good English. The room was clean, friendly, and air-conditioned. Rates run about $60-$100 per night, with breakfast included. Other meals and adult beverages cost extra, and are well worth it.

My wife and I had our first trip to beautiful Sicily, and sometimes we didn’t want to leave the BNB because it was so relaxing. Everyone treated us like family. When we return to Northern Sicily, we won’t even consider staying anywhere else.

Our room was cool and quiet, with a window looking out over the lovely garden and the sea. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast of fruit and local products, and our host’s advice helped us plan each day well and enjoy some wonderful experiences. Sicily’s beauty and the peaceful charm of Uliveto House were made even better by Patrizia and her family’s kindness and hospitality, including delightful Argo. We were sorry to leave when the holiday ended, but already knew we’d see them again soon.
