Il Veliero

The room was spotless, bright, well laid out, and had everything we needed. Breakfast is at the bar downstairs, with one pastry and one drink, which was enough for us. Our room looked out over the sea and Vesuvius, and the B&B is ideally placed along the coast. The manager met us outside the building and showed us to the underground parking he had offered, while his colleague brought our luggage up to the room. If you're arriving by car, I'd recommend using the parking he suggests, because finding a spot nearby is really difficult. We had a great stay and can recommend this B&B without hesitation 😊.

It was hard to find a downside, though the paid street parking was a hassle. Since it's right in the center, you have to keep remembering to renew the parking ticket, so I'd say don't come by car! :) We had an incredible view of the whole Stabia seafront from our double room. The manager was exceptionally kind and thoughtful. After we booked, he messaged us on WhatsApp about when the room would be ready, then met us and showed us around, explaining the amenities. Breakfast is at partner bar Palladino, probably the prettiest bar in town. Its inner garden with fruit trees is a must-see, and the croissants and coffee were delicious. Il Veliero is also well placed for the attractions, train station, funicular, and port.

I came across this B&B online by chance and was really impressed. It's right in the center of Castellammare di Stabia, within walking distance of the places along the seafront. The rooms are tastefully furnished, well cared for, and spotless, and the owners are very helpful. They can also reserve a spot in a garage nearby if you ask.
